Locum GP VMO - Narrandera NSW - 17-28 March & Ongoing

The Position

Narrandera Hospital is looking for a Locum GP VMO for a 2-week locum starting 17-28 March and then ongoing for two weeks a month.

The locum is required to attend GP Clinic, and on-call for the hospital 6 pm to 8 am – on call at the hospital for Triage 1 & 2, the rest is covered by RMCS.

With two other GP Trainees in town that support the on-call, this role is also required to offer support to the 2 x GP Trainees in the GP Practice 

★ Emergency department is supported by:

★ Critical Care Advisory Service support

★ Paramedics via CERS assist

★ Transfer and retrieval of critically unwell patients (Wagga Wagga 1hr away)

★ Radiology M-F 0830-1600 & on call

★ Pathology ISTAT POC + weekday service before 12 noon

GP VMO - Fast Track or ED - Mid-North Coast, NSW - No On-Call Or Nights

The Position

Are you a Fellow GP with at least a week of availability to assist in a Fast Track /Emergency Medicine locum?

Prescript is working with Mid-North Coast LHD to fill senior roster shortages in Emergency Departments in Feb and ongoing. You will be working in a supportive multidisciplinary team, with time off to enjoy your surrounds in this popular tourist destination.

★ Emergency Department floor or Fast Track shifts available

★ FACEM, Registrar and RMO support with you in the ED

★ Multiple sites within the LHD

★ Flexible working arrangements – shifts to suit your availability 8 or 10-hour shifts

★ No night shifts or on-call requirements

★ Excellent hourly locum rate - up to $2391 per day

Whilst the most urgent requirement is for assistance in a larger regional hospital, there is the opportunity to assist in rural hospitals distributed throughout the area – suitable for GPs who can work independently in ED.

Locum ED CMO / GP VMO - Lower Mid-North Coast, NSW - $2500pd

The Position

Do you have time off over the Christmas period and into January 2022? Have you considered picking up some well-remunerated locum work in a quaint farming community in regional NSW?

Prescript has locum dates at a 17-bed hospital nestled in the foothills of a lower Mid-North Coast national park. Ideally suited for GPs or ED Career Medical Officers with strong emergency skills, looking to enjoy a quieter locum in a “wonderland of green”.

★ $2500 per day

★ 24-hour on-call shifts – morning ward round & on hand for any ED presentations

★ Only five presentations on average per weekday, ten on average at weekends 

★ Operating theatre onsite supported by Visiting Surgeons and Visiting Medical Officers

★ A great place to get outside to enjoy trout fishing, canoeing, horse riding, bushwalking and camping on your days off

★ Less than 3.5 hours drive from Sydney

The Position

Are you looking to supplement your full-time work by assisting in a small public hospital over your weekends? Prescript has an ongoing opportunity for GP Fellows with emergency skills from now until the start of November.

★ Situated 270kms north of Sydney, this rural hospital sees approximately 15 presentations to its four-bed ED per day.

★ You will be the sole GP on-site over the weekend, covering ED presentations and inpatients.

★ Receive support from an experienced nursing team and on-call specialists (surgery/obstetrics/radiology).

★ This position is 24h on-call; however, overnight presentations are infrequent, and minor ailments can be treated remotely or by the nursing team.

The Position

Do you have a passion for rural primary care and the skills to work on-call for a small emergency department? Or are you keen to upskill in emergency medicine and progress your career as a rural generalist? Prescript are working with three Western NSW clinics to find general practitioners on both a locum and permanent basis.

As a locum, you will be working in a clinic Monday to Friday whilst providing on-call services to the nearby hospital during the weekday days only. You will complete a ward round in the morning before heading to the clinic and only be required to attend the hospital for Cat 1 and 2 presentations before 8 pm.

There are also three permanent/ongoing positions available for General Practitioners with or without emergency skills:
