Prescript Recruitment is offering a unique opportunity for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide vital mental health care in the Youth Inpatient Program (YIP) at Royal Darwin Hospital. This five-bed unit is part of the Top End Mental Health Service (TEMHS) and plays a crucial role in supporting young people requiring inpatient assessment and treatment.
This locum position is ideal for psychiatrists seeking meaningful work, high earnings, and the chance to make a real impact on regional healthcare. With no weekend or public holiday shifts, this role provides both professional reward and work-life balance.
The Position
Location: Royal Darwin Hospital, Northern Territory
Roster: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid break)
Daily rate: $3,500 per day
No weekend or public holiday shifts
Dates Available
ASAP – 23 March 2025
