Telehealth Opportunity - Up To $300 Per Hour - Work From Home

Prescript would love to hear from dedicated doctors interested in providing important telehealth services from the comfort of your own home.

With earnings of up to $300 per hour, this is your chance to enjoy a well-remunerated, flexible and rewarding career.

The Position

This telehealth provider does not aim to replace traditional GP services; they understand the limitations of telehealth and their focus is on responsible prescribing and patient care.

Consultations may include UTIs, STIs, upper respiratory issues, OCP consultations, thrush, croup, and rashes. Patients can upload relevant photos to their files for your assessment.

Patients enter the virtual waiting room and are seen in the order they arrive. Doctors then conduct consultations via voice calls, ensuring effective communication. Expect a comfortable 8-10 patients per hour.

Health service operating hours are from 7 am to 11 pm (AEST).

Before booking, patients agree to guidelines, which exclude the prescription of some Schedule 8 (S8) and Schedule 4 (S4) medications.

Next Steps with Prescript

At Prescript Recruitment, we follow a transparent, friendly process:

◼️ The first stage is an informal conversation with Prescript for you to decide if you want to proceed – you will need to share your CV and we will talk about the position, the healthcare organisation, and the location. You can let us know if you want to bring your family and if you have any special requirements.

◼️ The second stage is an informal application – we will arrange a phone call or a review of your skills to establish if this is going to be a good fit.

◼️ The third stage – if you’re happy then Prescript will send you a locum confirmation to say ‘congratulations – all booked!’

◼️ The fourth stage – Prescript will help manage all the paperwork and logistics. All you have to do is look forward to starting.

About Mel Houston

Hi, I'm Melissa Houston; I am one of the Senior Recruitment Partners at Prescript Recruitment, working with rural generalists and emergency medicine doctors across metro and regional Australia.

My experience covers over a decade of medical recruitment, specialising in senior doctors and solving the healthcare shortage.

I am an expert in working closely with hospitals, departments, and clinics to fill their critical vacancies. My success has included roster management, executive search projects and in-depth relationship building with locum doctors.

I love to work hard whilst injecting humour and fun into my day-to-day activities. I really enjoy meeting clients and doctors; as it stands, I think I've ticked off 100 hospitals that I have visited, and that is probably only touching the surface. I believe it's integral to matching doctors’ and clients’ needs and helps me better understand doctors' new roles.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my daughter and family. I'm a water baby at heart, so you'll often find me out on our family boat - sailing the beautiful waters of the Mornington Peninsula (where I live!).
