Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar – Sydney Southern Suburbs

The Position

O&G Registrars, would you like to locum close to Sydney this summer? This is a great opportunity to work with a new LHD in Sydney’s southern suburbs and pick up shifts that suit you.

This is one of the greater Sydney’s busiest hospital systems seeing around 5000 births per year. The hospital network offers services across cardiology, maternity, gynaecology, palliative, stroke medicine, surgery, emergency, and aged care.

★ Dates available from 01 November to the end of January 2022, with potential for ongoing work beyond these dates.

★ Public holidays and weekends are not required but there is the option to work them.

★ Consultant support will be provided to the O&G Registrars, this is a fantastic opportunity to see a wide variety of cases and patients with complex health profiles.

★ Registrars will assist with caesareans and high-risk births. They will also assist consultants with the clinics and labour ward.

★ Great opportunity for doctors working towards FRANZCOG.

Dates Available

➞ 01 November to 31 January 2022

➞ This is booked week-to-week or fortnightly

➞ Roster options as follows - 8 and 12-hour shift options:

Monday to Friday

  • 0800 to 1630

  • 0800 to 2130

  • 1330 to 2130

Weekends

  • 0800 to 2030

  • 2100 to 0830

The Benefits

★ $115 to $130 depending on experience (PGY5 + $130)

★ Payment method is VMoney (NSW)

★ Local opportunity to pick up extra work without border concerns!

★ Schedule flexibility – name your shift preferences and days you can work, and they will work in with the roster  

Who We’re Looking For

General Registration with APHRA

You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen

Covid vaccination proof is required

Doctors currently working in NSW will be highly regarded
