The Position
O&G Consultants, as there is now a great deal of flexibility to move about in NSW, why not spend the next few months helping a regional hospital on your time scales? Choose either a Monday to Friday or a weekend schedule to suit your availability!
★ Increased rate of $2500 per day
★ Dates available between 18 October 2021 to December 31 with the option to extend to February 2022.
★ This locum offers lots of flexibility with your schedule.
★ Typically, shifts start at 8 am until 5 pm, plus participation in the on-call roster.
★ Dubbo is home to a population of 38,000, and the ED typically sees between 3,000-4,000 presentations a year.
★ This hospital is in stages 3 & 4 of its redevelopment and has only just opened its new cancer centre a few weeks ago. Dubbo is a five-hour drive from Sydney and has a highly engaged community - with 90% vaccination rates as of this week! This hospital is also highly regarded by doctors who have completed locum assignments here.
★ The hospital sees around 1200 births per year. You will need to participate in helping with the gynaecology clinics and theatre lists and will need to manage the labour ward and provide unsupervised caesareans.
★ O&G Registrars will be available for onsite support.
Dubbo is an important rural centre in regional New South Wales and has a variety of interesting cultural attractions as well as beautiful vineyards, and an up-and-coming dining scene. Dubbo is also home to the open-range Taronga Western Plains Zoo!
