Townsville, located on the Queensland coast, is a vibrant city renowned for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. It has an average daily temperature of just under 25oC and has more than 300 days of sunshine each year. Visitors can explore the Great Barrier Reef, just a short boat ride away, offering unparalleled snorkeling and diving experiences. The Strand, a popular beachfront promenade, is perfect for leisurely strolls, swimming, and enjoying picturesque views of Magnetic Island. History enthusiasts can visit the Museum of Tropical Queensland, which showcases fascinating exhibits on maritime history and natural sciences. Townsville also boasts a lively dining scene with numerous restaurants, cafes, and bars offering a taste of local and international cuisine.
The Position
Working Monday to Friday with no on-call requirements means you have plenty of time off to enjoy the many natural wonders Townsville has to offer.
This locum role will see you working in a private Townsville clinic where your skills across diagnostic and interventional cases will be well utilised. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of services including MRI, ultrasound, echocardiograms, mammography, DEXA and CT. We will ensure that your cases match your skills profile —no reporting or procedures outside your expertise.

Monday to Friday only from 8.30 am to 5 pm - no weekends or on-call.

What We Require From You
✓ You will have FRANZCR.
✓ AHPRA Specialist Registration.
✓ You must be an Australian citizen/permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen.
