About Mt Isa
Situated in Western Queensland, Mount Isa is the largest of inland city in the state and is called the ‘oasis of the outback.’
It’s a fantastic place to experience, and also take family if that suits – what an incredible opportunity to have some outback adventures in a relatively easy to access location, just a couple of hours’ flight from Brisbane.
You may like to stay on and explore the gorgeous national parks in the region, as well as take in some incredible local history.
We have great feedback from radiologists who head out to locum in Mount Isa, it’s a wonderful contribution to make to a great community, and offers some fascinating clinical cases. Plus, it’s a truly incredible place to explore.

What We Require From You
✓ General radiologists with some Tier A procedural skills and any sub-specialty interests you have, and/or IR - your locum will be matched to your skillset
✓ FRANZCR – Unrestricted and DWS/19AB radiologists both eligible
✓ AHPRA Specialist Registration – Prescript can assist if you don’t yet have this
✓ You must be an Australian citizen/permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen
✓ The locum will be tailored to your skills and experience.
