This week the spotlight is on the incredible Great Ocean Road where we’re offering radiologists the chance to do week-long locums, or, engage further in a fantastic sea-change to live and work in this stunning location.
The city of Warrnambool is the centre for these opportunities – there’s a lot to like about this spot both clinically, and for visits or a lifestyle move.
You’ll be in a large, well-run private hospital that services the city, plus the communities along the coast. Within this fully comprehensive site, you’ll be able to work within your preferred skillset in a mix of reporting and procedures.
Site Mix: Offered are a range of services including MRI, mammo, nuclear medicine, a range of CT, US, x-ray and tier A procedural options. Please note that all work will be tailored to your preferences and specific skill-set.

Location Details
Warrnambool, located along the famous Great Ocean Road, offers the best in breathtaking coastal scenery, with rugged cliffs, pristine beaches, and panoramic ocean views.
Plus, there is so much more to love about Warrnambool – it’s a city is rich in history and culture, with a vibrant arts, musica and sports scene, incredible local markets, and a variety of outdoor activities ranging from surfing to scenic hikes and world-famous whale watching.
The Great-Ocean Road is dotted with beautiful coastal towns and maritime villages to explore on weekends. Do yourself a big favour and check out Warrnambool – it’s a real gem!
Deacon University has a campus in Warrnambool and there are excellent schools in the region for those looking to relocate with family.
Getting there:
Under 2.5 hours from Avalon Airport
Approximately 3 hours from Melbourne
Warrnambool is accessible and well worth the trip there – it lends itself to building in a weekend road-trip to fully explore and enjoy the city and all it’s attractions.

Australian citizen/permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen
NOTE – Warrnambool is also designated a DWS location so it’s a fantastic choice for radiologists on 19AB
