Prescript has an exciting position for GPs (including trainees) with a special interest in Medical Cannabis consultations. There are two positions currently available, either as a locum or permanent employee, with the flexibility to provide services remotely via telehealth or on a part-time basis.
With the rising demand for medical cannabis services, this is an excellent opportunity to apply your experience or grow your patient base at a well-supported, modern metropolitan practice.
The Position
This reputable mixed-billings practice in Wollongong, NSW is in a high growth stage. You would be working with two other GP Supervisors completing both general practice and medical cannabis consultations. This role is highly flexible, as the practice is open 7 days per week – so after-hours, part-time availability, and remote telehealth coverage is welcomed. DPA-restricted doctors and GP registrars are also encouraged to apply.
For GPs with approved prescriber credentials, ongoing part-time telehealth arrangements can be made to allow you to grow your patient base in this specialist field from the comfort of home. Ideally, doctors will be able to provide some on-site coverage (1 day per week) with the ability to work from home around this.
60-70% billings dependent on experience and contract
$198 - $235 per medical cannabis consult (provider number optional)
Guaranteed earnings for long-term appointments
Supportive and modern clinical team
Full-time, part-time, or telehealth arrangements available
