The Position
Are you a General Practitioner with availability to assist in a locum capacity in Canberra? Prescript is urgently seeking VR GPs with an interest or prior experience in Indigenous Health/Aboriginal Medical Services over the next two months.
★ Start date is immediate for full-time work, but if you can assist later in September, please get in touch with your availability
★ At least 2x positions available during this period
★ Great locum rate dependent on prior AMS experience
★ 6x GP Service with support from a Senior Medical Officer
★ 30-minute appointments, 10-14 patients per day
★ 95% Aboriginal Health Presentations (primarily walk-ins)

➞ Monday to Friday | 9 am to 5 pm
➞ Long locum blocks preferred, one week+ considered

What We’re Looking For
✓ Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM
✓ Specialist AHPRA Registration
✓ Prior experience in AMS/Indigenous Health preferred (but not essential)
✓ Australian or New Zealand citizenship/permanent residency or relevant work visa
