Locum FACEMs – Coastal WA - $2800-$3000 Per Day

The Position

Looking to apply your extensive ED skills whilst enjoying the sunny coast of WA? Prescript needs your help with urgent locum vacancies in the busy ED at Geraldton Hospital. There’s an ongoing requirement from the start of September and locum contracts of up to 7 months available.

★ 10-hour shifts – mornings or afternoons – no nights!

★ Well supported department, you’ll have another FACEM and 4 SMOs on shift with you

★ 8-10 shifts per fortnight (or more if desired)

★ Excellent locum rate

★ Average temperature is 30 degrees and dry over the summer months

You can fly to Geraldton from Perth twice daily during the week and once per day over the weekend. Alternatively, you might choose the 4.5-hour drive, combining your locum with a road trip along the Indian Ocean Drive – immersing yourself in the abundance of scenery and uninterrupted views.

Dates Available

➞ 1st September – 28th February (with likelihood of extension)

➞ Choose blocks of one week or longer within this period (longer preferred for interstate locums)

➞ Please get in touch with your availability, and we’ll assess the roster for suitability

** Doctors from VIC, ACT & QLD who are able to offer 6+ weeks locum cover may be eligible for paid hotel quarantine whilst border restrictions apply**

Who We’re Looking For

Fellowship of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM)

Doctors comfortable working around a roster, including on-call and weekend work

Specialist AHPRA Registration

Australian citizen or permanent resident, NZ citizen, or relevant work visa

WA (or very low-risk state) based doctors preferred
