The Position
As a Locum Executive Director of Medical Services at THS-Royal Hobart Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery.
Providing strategic leadership and direction to the Medical Services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and patient-centred care.
Collaborating with stakeholders to implement policies and procedures related to medical services, contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.
Working closely with the Deputy Executive Director - Medical Services, who will provide support and supervision throughout your locum.
Participating in day work shifts and being available for on-call duties, ensuring the provision of comprehensive medical services to patients.

Hi, I'm Melissa Houston; I am one of the Senior Recruitment Partners at Prescript Recruitment, working with rural generalists and emergency medicine doctors across metro and regional Australia.

I love to work hard whilst injecting humour and fun into my day-to-day activities. I really enjoy meeting clients and doctors; as it stands, I think I've ticked off 100 hospitals that I have visited, and that is probably only touching the surface. I believe it's integral to matching doctors’ and clients’ needs and helps me better understand doctors' new roles.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my daughter and family. I'm a water baby at heart, so you'll often find me out on our family boat - sailing the beautiful waters of the Mornington Peninsula (where I live!).
