Clinical details:

There are two options detailed below in the dates outlined.

Tier B Interventional Radiology – with some general reporting where needed if there are gaps in procedural appointments.

  • These roles are within a mix of some of Melbourne’s top private and public hospitals.

Note – Please see the highlighted dates in January 2024 that are most critically required. If you can help, that would be perfect.

General Radiology – Reporting and procedures based on your own skillset. These locums are based in a range of well-staffed, high-tech private clinics.

  • A range of location options are available. Please enquire so that we can find the best option to suit you.

Newly released locum opportunities are now available across Sydney and the Central Coast of NSW.

We’re delighted to offer the below dates at a special, elevated rate of $4000 per day.

You’ll be working at private sites that are known for their great staff and lovely working environments.

These are general radiology sites, well-resourced and matched to your skillset so you can feel comfortable working in the reporting and procedural areas you enjoy.

There are a range of services offered at these clinics including general x-ray, ultrasound, CT scanning, mammography, cone beam CT, OPG, cephalometry and image-guided biopsies/injections.

*Note – if you do note perform all of these, we will arrange to suit you.

Visit Victoria for Fantastic Radiologist Locums – Top $ Rates

Prescript has fantastic radiology locum opportunities available in picturesque Victoria with rates up to $4,000 per day.

Locations include Shepparton, Mildura and a range of gorgeous locations across Gippsland. We offer you options to work in regional public or private hospitals, or private clinics. You’ll be well supported with IT and expert staff and warmly welcomed.

These regional Victorian cities are fantastic destinations for your next locum. Whether it's exploring Shepparton's vibrant arts scene, experiencing Mildura's vineyards and riverfront, or immersing yourself in the natural beauty of Gippsland, you'll have plenty to see and do if you’d like to stay on for a weekend.

The Position

We have week blocks available, Monday to Friday with no on-call needed. Dates are available ASAP until March 2024 and onward - Please get in touch with any preferences and gaps you may be free.

Nicola will discuss daily rates with you and can offer higher-than-normal rates for some weeks and locations - up to $4,000 per day.

These are general radiology locums that can be matched to your own skillset – normally they are a mix of reporting and procedures. Please note – if you do not do some modalities or procedures, this can be set up as such to suit you, e.g. not essential to do mammo, MRI etc – there is flexibility.

Note - There are one or two sites that can offer some IR if you’re interested too – please ask.

These regions are easily accessible from Melbourne, and all of your travel, accommodation and paperwork will be organised seamlessly for you by our expert Credentialing Team.

Here is a snapshot of three locations:

  1. Gippsland is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, including lush forests, pristine beaches, and picturesque lakes. It's a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for hiking, fishing, and immersing oneself in nature's beauty.

  2. Located in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, Shepparton is a vibrant regional centre known for its agricultural heritage and multicultural community. It boasts a rich culinary scene, with fresh local produce and a welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal place to savour delicious food and explore cultural diversity.

  3. Situated along the Murray River in Victoria's northwest, Mildura is famous for its sunny climate and thriving wine industry. ★ Top-level, tier B IR work performed in dedicated suites with excellent staff support.  Also including some general reporting and procedures throughout the week – *Paid at same IR rate.

★ This is a great option for interventional radiologists and offers exposure to some unique cases seen in the NT.

★ Plus, this is an amazing way to provide your medical expertise to this community who are incredibly grateful.

⇒ Requirement – Monday – Friday work days. Sunday to Sunday on call.

2. General Radiology Locums

★ Travel up to the incredible city of Darwin and enjoy well-equipped facilities for general radiology reporting and tier A procedures – these will always be matched ahead of booking in, with your own skillset and preferences.

⇒ Requirement – Monday to Friday work days, no on call or weekends required.
