Your Favourite Podcasts For Doctors?

I am a massive fan of podcasts and love subscribing to a whole range of programmes on different topics - some I listen to every day, some once a week and others I will dip in and out of depending on my mood. There are guilty pleasures (you may find a podcast about ‘an everyday story of country folk’ in my library!) and a book club that has inspired most of my recent Booktopia purchases.

The newest (or newly found) podcast I love is ‘How To Fail’ by Elizabeth Day. Each episode is a conversation with someone in the public eye and focuses on events in their life that didn’t go well. It is a refreshing reminder that success is rarely a straight line, onwards and upwards, but a tangle of backwards, downwards and off to the side. For me, with the challenges of running a business during the pandemic, I have found this podcast a welcome support. Interviewees include Graham Norton, Dr Alex George, Alain De Botton and Alistair Campbell.
