We’re working with two well-resourced public hospital sites in the Victorian countryside, operated by private radiology providers. These are high-quality locum opportunities offering a balanced mix of reporting and procedures, tailored to your individual skillset.

Accessible from Melbourne, these scenic locations offer the chance to step out of the city, slow down, and enjoy the fresh air – all while working with supportive teams who truly value your contribution.

The Position

We’re seeking Tier A General Radiologists to work across two regional public hospitals, each run by a highly regarded private provider.

You’ll be working across a broad range of reporting, with general procedures included. If you offer a subspecialty – such as breast, MSK, or MRI – it will be welcomed, but it’s not essential.

We are always keen to make sure the work aligns with your interests and strengths – to ensure this is a really excellent and enjoyable match for you.

These are strong, well-organised sites that offer a rewarding locum experience. They’re particularly well suited to radiologists who enjoy varied, hospital-based work – with the added structure, support, and attractive daily rates offered by a privately operated service.

Radiology Locum – Reporting Only | Coastal Base, Country Impact | Flexible Rates

We’re proud to offer a radiology opportunity that’s as flexible as it is rewarding: a pure reporting-only locum just outside Port Macquarie, NSW.

Working with a respected national imaging provider, this role combines the best of both worlds: a peaceful rural setting that genuinely needs your expertise, and the ease of a no-procedures, reporting-only position. Whether you’re looking to fill gaps between regular commitments or book recurring week-blocks, you’ll be perfectly placed.

The Position

This is a reporting-only radiology role at a clinic within a public hospital, located a short drive inland from Port Macquarie. You’ll be reporting within your skillset across general modalities including X-ray, CT, Ultrasound and MRI. There are no procedures required – and no interventional component.

You’ll be supported by a well-organised imaging team and connected to a broader network of radiologists across the group. The site is DWS-accredited, meaning 19AB-restricted radiologists are welcome.

You’re also welcome to base yourself in Port Macquarie and commute to the clinic daily – or explore more rural & coastal accommodation if preferred.

Also, working in Port Macquarie is available for a day or two (ask Prescript for more info).

Radiology Locums – Sydney Metro | $4,000 Daily | Flexible Work in Brand-New Clinics

We’re working with one of the most innovative imaging providers in the country — a growing group that’s challenging the traditional clinic model and doing things differently. Their focus is simple: deliver excellent imaging, invest in great people, and build clinics that support both the patient experience and the radiologist behind the screen.

For the first time, they’ve opened up availability across several new clinics in Sydney’s southern, western and south-western suburbs — and we’re now placing radiologists into those sites. All sessions are clinic-based, metro-located, and paying $4,000 per day.

The Position

We’re looking for general or interventional radiologists to join these clinics on a locum basis. You’ll be reporting across X-ray, CT, ultrasound and MRI. Some procedural capability is required.

In most locations, you’ll be part of a team — working alongside other radiologists in well-resourced settings. Patient lists will be tailored around your skills and interests, and sub-specialist experience in areas like breast, MSK or nuclear medicine is welcomed.

Where You’ll Be Working

You’ll have access to both brand-new and established metro clinics. The new sites are located across Sydney’s southern and south-western growth areas — all within an hour of the CBD. They’re easily accessible by train or car and offer a great option for doctors wanting high-quality clinic work without regional travel.

We’re currently placing into clinics across:

  • Sydney’s south (within reach of the beaches and local train lines)

  • The west (connected via M4/M5 corridors)

  • The south-west (a mix of newer developments and established communities)

About the Group

This is a growing imaging provider that’s taken a fresh approach to how clinics are run. They’ve grown quickly over the past year — investing heavily in technology and infrastructure and building well-supported and easy-to-work-with teams. There’s a genuine focus on building strong, lasting relationships with radiologists and referrers, and it shows in how their clinics operate day to day.

Locum dates are available from mid-April onwards. You can book:

  • Single days

  • Full weeks

  • Or build a regular pattern that fits around your existing work

Radiology Locum – $4000/day | Mersey or Devonport, TAS

,

This locum offers more than just excellent daily rates — it’s a chance to work in well-run clinical settings, make a tangible impact in regional healthcare, and enjoy the support and structure that allows you to focus on your clinical work.

With $4000/day, no on-call, and no weekend work required, it’s a straightforward, well-supported placement in a welcoming Tasmanian community.

The Position

You’ll be working in either a clinic within a public hospital setting in Mersey or a private clinic in Devonport, both located in North Western Tasmania. These are well-organised, well-supported environments — and each locum is tailored to your individual skill set.

Your week will typically involve:

  • A mix of general radiology (diagnostic reporting)

  • Around 5–6 Tier A procedures per day, such as CT-guided injections and MSK ultrasound

  • Option to book injection clinics if you prefer a more procedural locum

  • For radiologists with an interest in breast/mammo, we can arrange fit-for-purpose weeks that reflect your scope

The teams you’ll be joining are genuinely friendly and supportive. Technical staff and IT systems are reliable, so your experience is smooth and professionally satisfying from start to finish.

Dates Available

Week-long locums from Monday to Friday, with no weekends or on-call unless you opt in for additional reporting.

With excellent coffee spots, scenic coastal walks, and a strong sense of local community, it’s a great base for a locum week. You’ll find all the essentials — plus plenty of small-town charm — with the added bonus of being close to beaches, farmland, and ferries that link directly to the mainland.

Nearby, Mersey is set within easy reach and offers a more low-key environment, still well connected but a little more tucked away. It’s an ideal spot if you’re after a straightforward, well-supported work week without big-city distractions — and want space to unwind between shifts.

Both locations are well-serviced, well-regarded by visiting doctors, and give you the chance to see a different side of Australia while contributing to services that really value your time and skill.

Both locations are easy to access, with Prescript coordinating your travel.

  • Flights: The nearest airport is Devonport Airport, with regular connections via Melbourne. Alternatively, Launceston Airport is a 90-minute drive away and offers more flexible flight options.

  • Car hire is included and waiting on arrival — giving you freedom to explore the coastline during your downtime.

  • If you're travelling from New Zealand, we’ll coordinate flights to align smoothly with local connections and make the journey seamless.
