Work 8 Days On / 6 Days Off - Locum GP/ED Doctors - QLD

After a few tough years of working more overtime than probably necessary to support the communities we live in, everyone is now looking at alternatives to best support their future, health, and lifestyle.

Prescript has an opportunity for you to work 8-days on / 6-days off and have that desired work-life balance, with higher than normal rates, less time away from home, and the opportunity to spend more time with loved ones.

Earn up to $22,000 over an 8-day period, and then enjoy your 6-days off!

The Position

Work 8-days on / 6-days off with high rates. Leaving you with more time to do what you love.

Mount Isa is looking for General Practitioners to support a number of rural facilities from mid-2022 all the way to May 2023 - they are paying higher than normal rates, earn up to $22,000 per 8-day block.

Daily rate: 

  • $2000 - SMO

  • $2,350 - SMO with an AST

  • $2,400 - FRACGP / FACRRM

  • $2,750 - FRACGP / FACRRM with an AST

The Benefits

Daily rate: 

  • $2000 - SMO

  • $2,350 - SMO with an AST

  • $2,400 - FRACGP / FACRRM

  • $2,750 - FRACGP / FACRRM with an AST

★ Overtime rates apply if working over a 12-hour day

★ Travel and accommodation provided

★ On-call is required but each facility has experienced nursing staff for support and the on-call doctor will only be called in if required

Who We’re Looking For

FRACGP or FACRRM

You must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen, a New Zealand citizen, or other relevant work visa

AHPRA Specialist Registration

Higher rates apply to AST, an advanced skill in Obstetrics, Anesthetics, or ED.
