The Positions
As a Night Shift General Medicine Registrar, oversee patient care on the ward with professionalism and attention to detail. Collaborate closely with specialists and the nursing team. Effective communication is vital for seamless teamwork with SMOs and FACEMs.
As an Admitting Medicine Registrar, support the ED registrar by devising treatment plans, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, and arranging necessary tests.

General Medicine Registrar Night Shifts:
18th January to 22nd January (21:30-08:30)
25th January to 31st January (21:30-08:30)
Admitting General Medicine Registrar Shifts:
20th January to 21st January (14:00 - 21:30)
27th January to 28th January (08:00 - 16:00)
3rd February to 4th February (14:00 - 23:00)

How to get to Wangaratta
From Melbourne:
Drive: Approximately 2.5 hours via the M31 and Hume Freeway.
Train: Around 3.5 hours.
From Sydney:
Drive: Approximately 7 to 8 hours.
From Brisbane:
Flights to Albury Airport, followed by a 1-hour drive to Wangaratta.
What We Require From You
To be eligible for this locum opportunity, you must have:
General Registration with AHPRA
Experience as a Medicine Registrar
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Australian permanent resident or citizen, New Zealand citizen, or relevant work visa holder
