There’s Plenty To Do & See in Hobart – Eat, Drink, Play, Relax!

Enjoy stunning views of the city via a cycle tour down Mt Wellington and through Hobart, finishing at the waterfront.

Take the ferry, be sure to sit in the Posh Pit, to the Museum of Old and New Art. The MONA, as it’s referred, is Australia's largest privately-owned museum and showcases the owners (David Walsh) collection, from artists around the world. The contemporary art is thought-provoking and is displayed within a structure that’s dug three stories deep into the native rock - which remains exposed in most rooms and is spectacular in itself. Stay for lunch overlooking the beautiful grounds and jetty.

With 15 major events happening around Tasmania during this locum period, it makes it the perfect time to visit. Click this link to see all the major events around Tasmania for the next 12 months.

Tasmania is a haven for wildlife. Explore their unique animals, such as the Tasmanian Devil, at the Tasmania Devil Unzoo, before paying a visit to the Port Arthur Historic site

Wine tours are a great way to sample Tasmania’s wonderful wine and sparkling wine regions. If that isn’t enough, you can try locally produced cured meats and cheeses along with Vodka and Gin at Grandvewe Cheeses.

Safely walk around the docks and stroll through the famous Salamanca Market on Saturday morning.
