The Position
Regional Queensland has always been a popular destination for Prescript’s locum Radiologists. However, there is currently a severe shortage of Radiologists Australia-wide over the coming months, so we’d really appreciate it if you are able to provide help!
If the warmer weather is to your liking, this is a fantastic time to enjoy the longer days and consistently balmy evenings that Queensland offers.

Locum Roles Available
Cairns - $4,000 PER DAY
Dates available in:

➞ The locum role will see you working in a private Cairns clinic where your breast skills and general radiology skills will be well utilised.
➞ The clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, including 3T MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, echocardiograms and general and dental OPG x-ray.
➞ Please note that you will also need to have prior experience working with voice recognition software as there are no typists onsite.
Mount Isa - $4,000 PER DAY

➞ You are required to operate the clinic attached to the Public Hospital, as well as provide teleradiology services to outlying hospitals/medical services. Current emergency and trauma reporting experience required.
➞ FIFO – Fly up from Brisbane on Mondays and back from Brisbane on Fridays
BUNDABERG - $3,500 PER DAY

➞ The role will see you working alongside another 2 Radiologists covering both a public and private hospital settings.
➞ Services include MRI, CT, US, XR and some interventional procedures

Hervey bay - $3,500 PER DAY

➞ The role will see you working across both public and private hospital and clinic settings.
➞ Services include X-Ray, OPG (dental scans), CT, MRI, ultrasound, bone density scanning, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, mammography and interventional procedures.
Rockhampton - $3,500 PER DAY

➞ The role will see you working in a private clinic setting.
➞ Services include BMD, US, XR, Mammo, CT, CBCT and interventional (incl. US and CT guided procedures).

What We’re Looking For
✓ FRANZCR Radiologist.
✓ AHPRA Specialist Registration.
✓ You must be an Australian citizen/permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen.
✓ General Radiologist with basic interventional skills; however, the locum will be tailored to your skills and experience. Request a full site/practice overview from Prescript.
