The Position
Prescript is helping provide GPs for urgent gaps in an important aeromedical service’s Primary Care rosters over July, August, September, and October 2022.
★ Based out of Broken Hill, you will be working in a multidisciplinary team providing Primary Care to the isolated communities in Far West NSW.
★ Your week will involve 1-3 Primary Care clinics in Broken Hill, working with up to 8 other GPs in a standard clinic setting. You’ll then be required for 2-3 Fly-In-Fly-Out clinics per week.
★ Along with a nurse practitioner and possibly allied health, you will depart at 7 am, roughly seeing 5-12 patients for General Practice presentations between the hours of 10 am-3 pm, returning to base around 5 pm.
★ Best Practice software. Support from on-call SMO and retrieval team (for any emergencies).

Dates Available
➞ 11th July – 1st August *Critical
➞ 8th – 19th August
➞ 5th – 16th September
➞ Whole of October - dates available for 2 week blocks - please enquire with your availability
➞ 2-week locum blocks preferred (or longer if desired)
➞ Monday-Friday only, no on-call or weekend work
➞ 9 am – 5 pm clinics when in Broken Hill
➞ 7 am – 5 pm FIFO clinics
There are multiple positions available during this time – if you have partial availability to assist, please get in touch with your interest and we will assess the roster for suitability.

✓ FRACGP or FACRRM for FIFO Primary Care clinics
✓ Specialist AHPRA Registration
✓ Australian/NZ Citizen or Permanent resident, or unrestricted working visa
