The Position

Looking to apply your extensive ED skills whilst enjoying the sunny coast of WA? Prescript needs your help with urgent Locum vacancies in the busy ED at Geraldton Hospital.

➞ 10 hour shifts - morning, afternoon & nights

➞ Well supported department (2 FACEMs & 10 SMOs per 24h)

➞ 8 shifts per fortnight (or more if desired)

You can fly to Geraldton from Perth twice daily during the week and once per day over the weekend. Alternatively, you might choose the 4.5-hour drive, combining your locum with a road trip along the Indian Ocean Drive – immersing yourself in the abundance of scenery and uninterrupted views.

Dates Available

➞ ASAP Start

➞ Locum blocks of one week (WA based) or longer (Interstate)

➞ Ongoing opportunity throughout 2021 – dates to suit your availability

The Benefits

★ Daily rate $1900 and payment via invoice

★ Well regarded, self-contained accommodation at one of two sites (family-friendly)

★ Return economy flight and hire car provided for the duration

What We’re Looking For

Criteria:

➞ Non-Specialist PGY6+ ED doctors

➞ At least three years of Senior Registrar/SMO experience

➞ Able to work unsupervised if required

➞ Doctors comfortable working around a roster, including night shifts and weekend work

➞ Must have completed either REST, REACT, CEMP or ALS2 in the last three years

➞ WA based doctors preferred
