Locum ED SMO/General Practitioner - Escape to Coastal WA - Jul to Sep
The Position
Prescript has an excellent locum role available in a breathtaking coastal WA destination. This opportunity is for PGY6+ doctors or General Practitioners with strong emergency medicine skills and the ability to work independently.
★ Flexible dates – up to 3-month locum opportunity
★ Work as part of an experienced senior ED team
★ Day, afternoon and night shifts (nights solo-doctor on-shift)
★ $1750 - $1900 per day (rate negotiable for urgent shifts - see below)
Experience strikingly white beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, untouched islands and colour-filled wildflower country in this superb WA location.
During your time off, you’ll be able to explore and take in the beauty of this scenic region and the many activities it has to offer. From four-wheel drive beach safaris to nature reserves, there is so much to do and see; sandboarding, cultural tours, island cruises, diving, snorkelling, fishing, canoeing and much more.

Dates Available
➞ There is an opportunity for one locum to work full-time over the next three months
➞ 5 shifts per week (or more if desired), primarily days/afternoons, some nights

What We’re Looking For
✓ General or Specialist Registration
✓ Ability to work independently in-charge of a small Emergency Department
✓ WA based doctors preferred
✓ Interstate doctors from Medium Risk Zones cannot apply at this stage
✓ Low-Risk Zone doctors must quarantine at their own expense
✓ New Zealand based doctors encouraged to apply
✓ Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or other relevant work visa
