Locum Consultant Psychiatrists – Acute & ED - Darwin - June to December - $2500 per day
The Position
Do you have the capacity to locum for a month or longer in the Northern Territory between now and the end of the year?
★ Prescript is helping the Royal Darwin Hospital find Consultant Psychiatrists for a long term locum vacancy in their Emergency Department.
★ This role would suit a doctor with previous acute inpatient experience as a Staff Specialist, with the ability to manage a mental health team in emergency situations.
★ You will be working standard Monday-Friday hours with no on-call or weekend work.

Dates Available
➞ ASAP – 7th December
➞ Preference for locums who can fill the whole block
➞ Part-coverage considered (1 month or more ideally)
➞ Monday-Friday 0800-1630 with half-hour meal break

What We’re Looking For
✓ FRANZCP
✓ Previous experience in Acute or ED Psychiatry
✓ Experience managing a team desirable
✓ Specialist AHPRA Registration
✓ Australian or NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or other relevant work visa
✓ Doctors exempt from border restrictions (if able to start immediately)
