How to Plan & Book Radiologist Locums for 2021

Prescript specialises in working with radiologists to help you organise locums to fit in with your available time - and to make sure each locum is a great fit for your location preferences and clinical scope.

Here’s a quick, step by step guide that answers some questions about how to plan and book in locums that work for you.

  1. Call or email us – Nicola Speer and Rebecca Doyle are connected with a huge nationwide network of radiology providers who engage us to find the best locum doctors for their needs.

  2. When you speak with Nicola or Rebecca, they will ask you for any specifics that you have already have in mind – This may be dates you are free or locations you prefer.

  3. Next step is to go over options based on your preferences – it’s quick and easy. We then get your preferences together to check over and decide on.

  4. Once booked, you will get a Locum Booking Confirmation email with the overview attached so it’s all nice and clear.

  5. Prescript’s Credentialing Team (Stef McLaughlin and Marcia Beere) then organise the travel bookings with you as well as any paperwork that is required.

  6. Nicola and Rebecca keep in close touch and always call and check in to see how you’re getting along on your locum and make sure everything’s great!

Why do we have this process in place?

To make it easy and reliable for you – We want you to feel relaxed and confident with your locum bookings and enjoy the planning and booking – and of course the locum itself.

Locations

Let us know if you have preferences – This may vary over time as well, and we can fit in with your wishes.

Some radiologists like to try a new location every time they locum, others prefer to return to the same, favourite site time after time. It’s entirely up to you.

We have locums coming up for 2021 that we’re booking in now so this is the time to give us a call and make some enquiries and plans.

Here’s a snapshot:

NSW – Regional and city

QLD – Coastal and inland as well as Brisbane and other cities

TAS – Beautiful options in Hobart and Launceston & surrounds

WA – Perth and options across the state

NT – Darwin – A great place to locum, central city

Dates Available

Week by week dates for the whole of 2021 – Just ask, and we can give you specifics!

*Not all dates are free for all locations so best to check now, in 2020 to look at your plans for the new year and lock in your preferences!

Sometimes you’ll see us advertising specific dates and locations to highlight these so please do jump on this and let us know if you may be able to help.

If you don’t see what you’re after, just ask! There are very often options that are not advertised too.
