The Position

Are you a GP and interested in locuming on spectacular Norfolk Island? Prescript has Rural Generalist dates available from Friday 3rd December 2021 to Monday 3rd January 2022. There are also locum dates throughout 2022 - please let us know your availability and we’ll assess the roster for you.

★ $1500 per day

★ Mon to Fri

★ 0830 – 1700

★ Two nights in the week on-call - and shared weekends on-call

★ The New Norfolk District Hospital has 14 sub-acute beds – services include; community health, mental health services, child health services, radiology, physiotherapy, podiatry, and visiting consultants

★ You’ll be working across the District Hospital and Multi Purpose Centre

★ This is a multi-doctor location so you will be well supported in this locum

Norfolk Island is a small island paradise in the South Pacific Ocean. Famous for its seafood, picturesque beaches, and exceptionally friendly community, a trip to Norfolk Island will definitely be one to remember.

Who We’re Looking For

✓ Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM

✓ Specialist AHPRA Registration

✓ Recent Emergency experience and relevant ALS course

✓ You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or relevant work visa
