Geriatric Advanced Trainee/Registrar PGY5+ - Wagga Wagga, NSW - $150 Per Hour

The Position

Do you have any availability to support a local community between October 2021 and Feb 2022? Prescript has a Geriatric Advanced Trainee/Registrar (PGY5+) role in Wagga Wagga, NSW. 

★ Monday to Friday | 0800 to 1630

★ This is an unaccredited role for four months

★ Participation in the day to day running of the GEM unit, Orthogeriatrics and ward consults of frail elderly patients under the care of other teams

★ Outpatient work includes; General Geriatrics Outpatient Clinics, Memory Clinics, and potential opportunities to fly to peripheral hospitals (if Covid restrictions permit you to do so)

★ After-hours commitment once every 2-3 weeks

Wagga Wagga sits on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River and is a vibrant regional centre, located midway between Sydney and Melbourne. Experience fascinating heritage, lovely riverbank walks, gardens, and parks during your time in this NSW city.

General AHPRA Registration

Experienced Registrar (PGY5+) with experience and an interest in Geriatric Medicine

Australian citizen/permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen, or a relevant work visa
