Act Fast to Avoid Missing Out - Rural Generalists - $3000pd Throughout 2024
Booking in last-minute, high-paying shifts at Leeton Hospital in the Riverina area of NSW was a reliable and popular option for our regular Rural Generalist locums. Now, however, the cat is firmly out of the bag!
Other than two ad-hoc gaps, the (entirely locum-covered) roster is now full for the rest of 2023. The good news? Exceptional daily rates, normally reserved for crisis shifts elsewhere, will continue into 2024 – and the roster is now open for the entirety of next year. Now is the time to seize your opportunity – plan ahead and secure your blocks as soon as possible – don’t wait to pick up the scraps nearer the time!
Leeton Hospital consistently receives excellent feedback from our locums; with an experienced nursing team, supportive health service managers, and modern well-maintained self-contained accommodation – it’s a very popular place to work. Evidenced by the lack of available shifts for the rest of 2023.
The Position
You will be providing sole-GP VMO services – managing presentations to the Emergency Department and Inpatient Ward during the day and on-call for Category 1 & 2 ED presentations overnight.
Working alongside excellent Senior CNS, ED, and FLECC registered nurses, plus support from the critical care advisory service and Virtual Rural Generalist Service – you will have the capacity to manage patients from this agricultural community whilst having your nights undisturbed by minor injury presentations.
For further details on the role and its requirements, contact Max or one of our repeat locums for direct feedback on the working environment.
